At the Choo-Choo bar, the beer is always fresh, good, and inexpensive for REAL beer. There are usually 4 different styles on tap (Derailed Ale, Nemadji River Red, Coal Car, and a light golden ale) one seasonal, and rootbeer also. They'll soon be moving from their current location (an old passenger car and a caboose) into downtown Superior, so if you want to drink in a nifty old train car, hurry before spring of 98. This is one of the smallest breweries I have ever seen.
Maybe that's what makes it so good, it's made in small batches.
I believe it's only a two or three barrel.
The Derailed ale is a favorite of mine, crisp and hoppy.
There's always a seasonal on tap you have to try.
The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 is because I don't believe there is a 5. (Date added: 7/17/97)
