See what gak thinks of the beers from Vermont Pub and Brewery at Beer Is My Life!

An outstanding brewpub, the rating should actually be 5+. Gregory Noonan is a very well respected brewer and an authority on Lager beers and Scotch ales. The Vermont Pub and Brewery is what a Brew Pub should be in every respect, he has in the area of 8 ales and lagers on tap at any given time and serves REAL cask conditioned ales with a hand pump. He offers seasonal as well as his regular house ales and lagers. His regulars include Browns, Bitters, Irish ale, ESBs, an excellent smoked Porter, IPAs, as well as different Lagers. The fine handcrafted brew alone would be well worth the trip from ANY where in the New England area from Northern Maine to South Western Connecticut, offered in pints, 12, 8, and 4-3 oz. samples. Not only is the brew great but the Pub fare is excellant as well, good, inexpensive and a lot of it. I am very impressed with his Pub and I have been to many in the New England area, I just wish more brew pub owners would take a WHOLE BUNCH of LESSONS from Gregory Noonan and the Vermont Pub and Brewery. See you there soon!
