The best beer in Nashville. The best brewpub in Nashville. The widest selection of beers at any brewpub in Nashville. The least smoky brewpub in Nashville. The best food of any brewpub in Nashville. Happy hour. Cask conditioned ale 5 nights a week. Excellent service. Friendly bartenders. Great IPA and Scottish Ale. (Date added: 6/12/98) Friendliest staff, most personable brewmaster, and best selection of beers in Nashville. Bosco's now features real cask conditioned beers five days a week, Monday through Friday. Cask ales are usually dry hopped for added complexity and aroma. Outstanding menu. Near Vanderbilt University. (Date added: 6/5/98) John and Doran Moranville, the Tennessee Homebrewers of the Year as well as the Memphis Homebrewers for the second year in a row has teamed up with Bart Vaughn, Master Brewer at Boscos (the first micro brewpup in Tennessee) to make a Foreign Stout which will be available to the public in late June and throughout July at Boscos. This is a big stout and will be throughly enjoyed by real beer drinkers. (Date added: 6/4/98) - JOHN MORANVILLE Boscos is a nice brewpub. The beers are well made. They rate high on the drinkability index. However, none are simply fabulous. The brewer, Chuck Skypeck, is a very nice fellow who likes to come out and chat with homebrewers to see how they like the beers. Good food although a bit pricey for what you get. Definitely a return visit! (Date added: 4/26/97) SEASONAL BREWS CHANGE ABOUT EVERY 4 WKS. CASK CONDITIONED ALE EVERY MON/WED PM. BEER HERE IS DEFINITLY ABOVE AVG. BREWER HAS BEEN ACTIVE FOR ABOUT 25 YRS. FOOD IS NOT YOUR AVG. PUB FARE. ITALIAN/MEDITERRANEAN MENU. WOOD FIRED PIZZA OVENS, THEY FEATURE GOURMET PIZZAS. |
