The beer here is only so-so. It's a shame, because it's a very nice place. Nice outdoor seating area. Lots of pool tables inside. (Date added: 6/12/98)

This is my favorite brewpub in Nashville. The beers are really good and plentiful in variety. The food is just great! The layout is pretty good so we non-smokers can smell our food and beer. The site is huge and they have lots of billiard tables. Nice shop with pub wear and glasses.
My favorite, the Thick Brick Ale. They also have a couple of beers on the handpump. The big downside to Big River is that the area where it is located is getting really congested. Last time I was there I could not park anywhere near the pub due to the crowds heading for Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood. (Date added: 4/26/97)
