Wm. Newman in Albany NY has been closed for sometime. CH Evans is a brewpub under construction due to open this year in the city. (Date added: 6/9/98) - Rick Lyke I visited this brewery in the mid 1980's when Mr. Newman was brewing beer right in Albany. You could buy his beer in plastic jugs. What I bought was a very tasty Pale Ale. Since I beleive there is only an Amber Ale available. This is contract brewed, and rates a 4 outta 5 the last time I had it a couple of years ago. The Pale Ale was a 5 outta 5 and sorely missed!!! (Date added: 12/8/97) |
