Food was ok but pricey. Service was good. It takes more than a nice atmosphere to create a great brew pub. The food at the Original Saratoga Brew Pub is over priced and mediocre. Their beer is unspectacular. The service is adequate, but nothing special. Our first visit was shortly after they opened, and so we tried them again a year later. Their selection of beers had grown, but most of the additions were novelty beers, poorly done, and cutsey flavored beers. The old standards remained dull and uninteresting. Bottom line: the food prices are too high and the quality of the beers too low to bother with. |
