The Davidson Brothers Brewery is a fun place to spend an evening. The variety of food is great with excellent quality. Rick Davidson is a fine host and eager to please his customers. Everyone should take his guided tour. (Date added: 1/23/98)

I like the atmosphere, especially the smoke-free 2nd floor. If you are trying their English-style ales for the first time, I'd suggest a sampler to "get acquainted." Brewery tours are almost always available, plus you can watch Rick and Chad brew from the downstairs bar. Menu is quite varied, with many dishes using ale as an ingredient. I have sampled many a brew at this relatively young pub. I was surprized and pleased at the consistant quality of the brews and the friendly (Cheers) type atmosphere therein.

Our business name is Davidson Brothers Restaurant & Brewery. Between October 1996 and October 1997, our first year in business, we produced 700 barrels of ales, porter and stout on our 7-barrel Peter Austin System. We use Ringwood yeast and 4 open fermenters. Our annual capacity is approximately 1,450 barrels. Rick Davidson is the head brewer; his assistant brewer is Chad Underwood. While the atmosphere is excellent, the brewer would be wise to try some new recipes. The Brown Ale is definitely the most drinkable, but the porter and the stout are weak and there is nothing memorable about either beer. An increase in the amount of malt used and a change in the variety of hops could do wonders. (Date added: 6/12/97)
