Hard to find; I luckily saw a roadside sign with driving instructions as I was leaving Milford, heading north to Cooperstown.
The beers are somewhat cutely named in a baseball motif ((Benchwarmer Porter, Old Slugger Pale Ale, Nine Man Ale), but the quality of the beer stands on its own merit. The Brewmaster is outspoken in his passionate concern for the freshness of his beer. He deplores the lack of control the smaller brewers have over the typical beer distributors. For this reason, CBC beers are only generally found in a radius of 200 miles or so.
CBC has no dining area, but they do have a small tasting bar. Besides the normal bottled beer, they also sell takeout beer in a "Poor Man's Growler", a 32-ounce Mason Jar. Works for me. (Date added: 4/30/98)

Kobors Brewing is becoming owners with Cooperstoen Brewery in milford. Kobors has become a full service distributor and brewer.
we distribute 150 micros and imports from all over the world.
Kobors brews all true ales using ringwood yeast 500 gallon batches and open fermentors.
