For the purist, this pub is a great draw due to its cask conditioned ales. Excellent authentic British pub atmosphere. The only regret is that they only offer three of their beers off the beer engine. (Date added: 4/26/98) I've been to England, and the beers at Sherlock's Home are as close to authentic English beer as I've come across in the Northern States. The atmosphere is quite nice and homey also. The food is real good, but can get a bit pricey. (Date added: 7/14/97) I heard great things about this place and I have no idea why. They had seven beers if I remember correctly, Four of them were on handpump(my favorite) And they were all awful. (Date added: 6/10/97) Six tasty regular brews -- 3 traditional (English) and 3 export styles, kept at appropriate cellar temperatures and hand-drawn from there as needed. Also at least one seasonal beer. (Date added: 5/5/97) The finest cask-conditioned ales this side of the Pond, and the best brew-pub I've been to. |
