Expansion in Sept 1997 increased capacity to 12,000 bbls. Also Jens Loder's name spelled wrong. (Date added: 2/24/98) - Anon. I have heard that Minnesota's own James Page Brewing may be expanding its production facilities - A confidant told me to keep an eye on them, as he suspects their business (staff of 10?) will blossom into a real Horatio Alger story. Apparently the new Brewmaster, James Hoeft, is worried about his strains of yeast mixing with the native yeasts of the Minnesota Brewing company. From what my confidant told me, this phenomenon of yeast heterogeneity (or mixing) accounts for the difference in James Page bottled and James Page kegged - In other words, they will bottle all of their own beer soon to prevent the bastardization of their beer. (Date added: 6/6/97) - Anon. Brewmaster is now James Hoeft. - Chris Dunn |
