Olde Penninsula is a great place to go in K-zoo to relax and drink a half yard of great beer. Gonzo the head brewer is great! I loved his Gonzo brew and the oatmeal stout for St. Patricks day. It was great to drink right before the Green Ice game at Wings Stadium. (Date added: 5/29/98) Excellent menu offerings although the beers tend to be a bit too filtered in appearence and watery tasting in texture. Five year round beers are: Midnight Stout, Black&Tan, Haymarket Ale, another bitter ale and a red ale. Seasonals that I know of are: Pumpkin Ale, Porter, and Raspberry Wheat. - Michael Robbert Great place to hang out and try all of their varieties. I had their Pumpkin ale and it was fantastic. I also tried a sip of my girfriend's favorite which is their raspberry wheat and loved it too. I can't wait to get back there and try some more. |
