After visiting the Great American Beer Festival and sampling an array of beer I am convinced Escanaba has the best beer in the country. (Date added: 10/30/97) The beer was average, but a real bargain at $1.75 a pint. The main reason to go to this place is that is is a grill-your-own steakhouse. Two big charcoal grills are set up in the restaurant. You go to the cooler, pick a cut of meat and slap it on the grill. Chefs are standing there with pointers on cooking your steak just right. It's definately worth a visit. |
