The ales had a strange, off flavor that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It was sort of astringent, almost chemical, definately unappealing. The Blueberry Stout was a disaster that should have never happened. The appearant owner/brewmaster was a surley guy who walked around scowling and barking at his wife (behind the bar) and little girl (running freely around the place). If you're in this part of SW Michigan skip Duster's and go to the St. Julian Winery is nearby Paw Paw instead. |
