Alas, the Mahogony Ale is available in 22 oz. bottles. It's even better than on-tap. It has a dark red/rust color. Full bodied with a nice bitter aftertaste, but not too overpowering. Excellent! Try it if you can. I recently tried the Blonde Ale in the new 22 oz. bottle. It was too citrusy for my taste. Kind of heavy too. I'm waiting for the Mahogony Ale in the bottle. It's great on tap, and is heavy in a good way. (Date added: 11/3/97) Great beers now including a Brown Ale. Can be found at local bars and restaurants in Farmington River Valley, Hartford, New Haven County and now in R.I. Look for 22 oz. bottles soon! |
