Comments

I was very surprised of the quality of flavors of the beers here. They all are very true to thier characteristics, for exaple the Porter had a good smoky flavor with just the right amount of hops to make it very drinkable. The heffewiesen was right on the with very distinct bannana and clove flavors. The scottish ale is in a class by itself, very smooth with a hint of scotch flavor. My favorite is the Elephant Head Oatmeal Stout. This beer is perfect very smooth nice head retention just a little sweet. I hope they keep up the good work. (Date added: 9/19/97)

This is a great place. I tried their sampler set. They served 8 5.5oz glasses of fine brew. My favorite was the amber but the scottish ale was great also. Other beers on tap included a porter, oatmeal stout, heffeweizen, apricot wheat, pale and a blonde ale. Whats so unique about this place is that not only do they have great beer, but they also have great food. What a combo (Date added: 8/24/97)
