Tasty Beers: I wanted a full pint of most of the ones I sampled. But I had to pick ONE. I was driving, you know! Great Food: I absolutely pine for their thin-crust Pizza and their Calzones are good, too. Great atmosphere, good food and more than one tasty beer to offer. A great place to stop by with a good friend. One of Little Rock's best. (Date added: 2/26/98) Vino's has a great atmosphere for hanging out and catching up with good friends. I've recently had the firehous ale and thought it was fairly tasty. Maybe the other reviewer had a stale batch. Great Aphrodite Red and Firehouse Pale! The Lazyboy is the best stout in the state. (Date added: 10/26/97) Casual, fun atmosphere. Very good homemade pizzas and Italian Calzones. Best brew: Shamrock Stout - An excellent stout! very rich, smooth flavor with a subtle coffee flavor. Another good one: Lazyboy Stout - Not as perfect as the Shamrock but good with a pleasent taste of chocolate. Wife's Choice: Six Bridges Cream Ale - smooth, very nice blend of malts and hops; not bitter. So So: Snakebite ESB; you're better off having a glass of Redhook ESB which is also on draught. Also So So: Firehouse Pale Ale - Tasted old; not much taste; Located in an old building near downtown Little Rock with lots of its "original character" showing and a very basic approach to interior facilities. Normal procedure is to order you beverage and food at the main counter where they keep track of your account with a friendly no hassle approach. We will go back. |
